We're sorry to hear you're not completely satisfied. We would like to better understand where and how the scratches occurred, as this product is primarily designed as a display piece for showcasing a graded card rather than for frequent transport or travel.
When displayed on a shelf, desk, or in a cabinet, scratches would not normally be expected. The appearance of scratches can depend on how the case is used and what it comes into contact with.

The products from Gemloader are really really good but sadly the import charges from Europe to the United Kingdom are really excessive and this puts the items out of a reasonable price zone.

The order and quality of everything is amazing. Second to none. However this morning I received a $32 charge from FedEx for an import cost on top of a near $40 shipping cost from Gemloader that I was not aware I would be charged for. Is this being paid on Gemloader’s end? If not, why exactly was I charged near $40 for shipping when I have to pay the import cost? I’ve read the response from the review below and while I don’t think it should effect the rating of your product, if you do not let United States residents aware of this *known* cost on your end prior to order PLUS your own shipping cost - then that is unacceptable.

The additional charges you received are import related tariffs implemented by the current US government since late 2025 and collected by FedEx on behalf of US authorities. We do not receive any portion of these funds ourselves. These charges are paid to your own government, which introduced these measures to encourage purchases from domestic businesses rather than imports from overseas.
As soon as these changes were announced by the US administration, we updated the very top section of our Shipping Policy to make US customers aware that these charges may apply. We also display the applicable Incoterms during checkout.
We only truly hope that our brand is not judged for a governmental policy change that is entirely outside of our control.

I love these sleeves. I also think my binder and toploaders from Gem are awesome, so I wanted to try the sleeves. I paid around $28 for the shipping. Then, FedEx charged me $17 more for a duty and disbursement fee. With two packs of sleeves being about $10, I paid a grand total of $55 for them.
Please start offering a lower cost shipping method. I would buy more of all the products from Gemloader, but cannot justify continuing to pay for the shipping. Even a way without tracking for smaller orders would help.
The product is very good, the shipping cost isn’t worth it. I will likely buy from other brands in future even though this one has been my favorite.

Unfortunately, overseas shipping is expensive, and the additional fees you mention are import duties and customs charges introduced by the US government since late 2025 better known as tarrifs. These charges are collected by FedEx on behalf of US authorities and are not fees that we receive ourselves.
We completely understand your frustration and also find the situation unfortunate. However, we do feel it is a bit unfair that our product rating is affected by costs that are entirely outside of our control.
